ELT : task on bilingualism, trilingualism and multingualism


Hello friends

  This is the 1st blog in sem -3. This is a response to ELT task given by vaidehi mam. The task upon the translation of words into Different different languages in the terms of bilingualism, trilingualism and multingualism.


Bilingualism :

         Bilingualism is commonly defined as the use of at least two languages by an individual (ASHA, 2004). It is a fluctuating system in children and adults whereby use of and proficiency in two languages may change depending on the opportunities to use the languages and exposure to other users of the languages ...
The condition of being bilingual; the ability to speak two languages.

 -trilingualism (uncountable)

The condition of being trilingual; the ability to speak three languages.


 -multilingualism  (usually uncountable, pluralmultilingualisms)

The condition of being multilingual; the ability to speak multiple languages. Hu

Dutch : alles goed


Gujrati : બધું બરાબર છે


Friends forever

Spenish : amigos para siempre


Marathi : कायमचे मित्र

Russian : друзья навсегда



 أصدقاء للأبد Arabic :


  German: für immer Freunde





How  are you :

Telugu : మీరు ఎలా ఉన్నారు

Gujarati : તમે કેમ છો

French : Comment vas-tu

Dutch : hoe gaat het met je

Russian: как твои дела


I don’t know :

Arabic : لا أدري، لا أعرف

French : Je ne sais pas


Nepali : मलाई थाहा छैन
Rassin : я не знаю

Spenish : no lo sé


German : Ich weiß es nicht



Happy  new year :

Russian : с новым годом

Arabic : سنه جديده سعيده

Dutch : gelukkig nieuwjaar

Spenish : Feliz año nuevo
