The preface to the lyrical Ballads written by WILLIAM Wordsworth. He discussed about what is poet rather then who is poet and he also discussed about poetic diction, language of poem.

What is the basic difference between the poetic creed of classicism and romanticism?
There are two ideologies. We can say that, Romanticism is feel they are free to express in simple manner. It means, it is not necessary to follow classical rules of writing. Classicism and Romanticism are artistic movements that have influenced the literature, visual arts, music and architecture of the western world over many countries. In romanticism is celebrates all strong emotions, not just feeling of love. Classicism follow rules whereas Romanticism were free from rules.

Why does Wordsworth say what is poet? Rather than who is poet ?
According to Wordsworth poet is a man; speaking to men, endowed with more lively sensibility, more enthusiasm and tenderness. Poet is reader of human Nature, he has knowledge about reader’s like and dislike. Poet is not as like common people, he is different than other mankind and he has more compressive soul. As Wordsworth said that Poet has great power to express his feeling and emotions. Through his/her imagination they can take away readers beyond this world. So Wordsworth says about characteristics of poet rather than who he is. Poet's ability and he describes quality of poet and he also makes poet different than other common people. So we can say that Wordsworth speaks about quality of poet so he says what is poet than who is poet.
3)what is Poetic diction? Which sort of poetic diction is suggested by Wordsworth in his preface?
watching second video we come to know that what is poetic diction. It is a choice of words, use of language, poet's own unique style of writing. Wordsworth believed in using lower class people's language. It fits well to the purpose of poetic pleasure. He said that rustic people are more genuine. But he also believes that it should be refined.

Wordsworth's definition of poetry :
" Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings it takes origin from emotion recollected in tranquillity. "
Poetry is to teach moral lesson with a feeling of delight. It is to give instruction and delight by connecting people with the poet and his imagination.
5) Discuss 'Daffodils - I wandered lonely as a cloud with reference to Wordsworth's poetic creed.
Daffodils is the most famous example of Wordsworth's definition of poetry. Daffodils deal with four stanzas. First three in past and last in present poem. Lake poets are the very famous. He is always lap of nature. When he awakened mood he recollect the daffodils. Just look at the tenses of the poem. It would a great example of grammar, language and in the process. We look imagery of the poem.
